Empire

This style originated in the 2nd half of the 18th century in France.

It is distinguished by its splendor using antique forms in the form of columns, pilasters and consoles. Massive furniture is made in the same vein: sphinxes, griffins and lion paws reflect the inner essence of the owners. A distinctive feature of the Empire are mirrors. They are placed wherever possible, so that the reflection of the general form gives out even more pomp.

English style

It is also called Victorian. Austerity of lines and conservatism - the traditional elegance of the British. Wooden surfaces, textile wallpapers, carpets, huge windows, a fireplace and stairs - this is what distinguishes this style from others.

The furniture is made by skilled craftsmen who know a lot about inlay and carving. Porcelain and crystal, paintings and lampshades seem to return to the era of the XIX century.

Antique style

Greek and Roman history penetrated the style associated with antiquity.

Mosaic floors and wall paintings create a special touch. In the design of the antique style, expensive materials are used - bronze and natural wood. When planning apartments in the antique style, it is necessary to adhere to certain forms.

For example, the hall should be rectangular. And from every corner it is assumed a door to another room.

Art Deco

This style originated in Paris in the 2nd quarter of the 20th century.

It is characterized by new ideas designed for luxury. Do not deny yourself anything - this is the motto of everyone who chooses the art deco style. The only negative is the combination of different styles. The era of one century can overlap with another. And the materials of this style are very exquisite: ivory and diamonds, lizard skins and crocodile skin.

Baroque

The style appeared in the XVI – XVII centuries in Italy.

It strikes with an excess in everything, from park alleys to interior decoration. Pile of forms creates a painful impression.

But the Baroque style perfectly characterizes the life of the powerful people of this world who tried to rise above humanity. Lacquer coatings of walnut furniture, coats of arms, candelabra, inlaid with mirror plates - all this can be combined in one phrase: small details of great people.

Art Nouveau

This is a new direction of art, which received its recognition at the turn of the XIX – XX centuries. It is distinguished by modernism and some similarities with Japanese culture.

Natural lines with smooth forms are visible throughout. In the Art Nouveau style, country houses are decorated with natural materials: mahogany furniture, silk and satin upholstery, mirrors, mother-of-pearl inserts, and ceramic tile in geometric or floral themes on the floor.
